Its Caturday - Cats @ seaside (June 5, 2011)

Haven't been well for the past one week but I'm feeling better now. So, I'm back to blogging & FBing after a week of absence.
On one of my trip to Balik Pulau, I came across some friendly felines at a seaside. I quickly got acquainted with each of them as I mingle with the group. These are certainly not feral judging from their behavior. They must be from the nearby fishing village. There were four of them, one male and three females.

Male. Largest among four.

This girl warmed up to me almost instantaneously. She is
also the most affectionate among the four.
Poor girl had eye infections
So affectionate..
Posed for a picture before walking off.
The female ones are usually
more affectionate.
I wished I had remembered to bring along
some cat food.

@ Teluk Bahang Dam (May 22, 2011)

Before this dam was constructed in the mid 90's, a beautiful stream use to meander through the the center of the valley. I could recall my many trips there and the blissful moments I had on many occasions having the whole place to myself. There was once I was there till late in the night with my good buddy. We built a small campfire and chatted away while we stargazed.
The place where I use to hang out is now wholly submerged, it is gone forever. What remains is but sweet memories.

Skyscape Series

I could never get bored looking at the clouds. Picked up this hobby when I was a kid. As a child, I spend a lot of time hiding out on the roof. It was my secret place, my safe place. It was also a place of solitude. Lying on the hard cold concrete surface, I would gaze at the passing clouds and daydream away.
I rarely do that anymore, I mean daydream, but I have never stopped cloud gazing. As a matter of fact, I cloud gaze more often nowadays. The sky is like God's infinite canvas, and he paints something new everyday.
